On the outskirts of San Millán de La Cogolla, about 500 meters from the Monastery of Yuso, lies Casa Rural La Calera. Surrounded by woods and offering views of the monastery and the entire San Millán Valley, the atmosphere is one of peace and tranquility.

The house is situated on a 2,500 square meter plot with ample parking for guests and a beautiful garden with lawn, trees, and various furnishings. In a separate building within the garden, there is a dining room-restaurant where guests can enjoy a daily continental breakfast service.

Access to the house is through a wooden pergola that is entirely glazed, leading to a living room or reading room where guests can relax and enjoy the natural light and views that predominantly feature greenery. In the entrance hall, guests will find a wide range of tourist information and brochures to help plan their activities and routes.

On the ground floor, there is a living-dining room with wooden tables, leather sofas, a television, and various antiques, including a piano.

The house has nine rooms spread over three floors, all of them equipped with heating, wooden beamed ceilings, furniture with many rustic decoration details, flat screen TV, and private bathroom inside the room. Most of them are spacious suites with a hydromassage bath or private Jacuzzi.

La Calera is a sustainable accommodation that has taken into account aspects of sustainability during its reconstruction, such as the use of environmentally friendly materials. The air conditioning is done by biomass and has an Energy Efficiency Certificate rating of A.
